LYON COUNTY MUSEUM

The Lyon County Historical Society (LCHS) is a non-profit, member supported organization located in downtown Marshall, Minnesota.  The museum is located in the former Marshall-Lyon County Library building, which was built in 1967.  This website is dedicated to Lyon County Veterans.

A new exhibit for the Veterans’ Honor Wall in the museum is The Vietnam War and Lyon County.  Th exhibit opened in August 2023.  Currently, the information on this website is in support of the Vietnam exhibit.  Gradually, veteran rosters and information from other military eras will be added to this website.

The Veterans’ Honor Wall exhibit area is located on the main floor of the Lyon County Museum. The last exhibit, which opened in 2017 and ended in 2022 focused on Lyon County World War I veterans.
